Battlefield 4 is an action-shooter game by DICE and EA Games. Game is the sequel to its predecessor (Battlefield 3) which was released in 2011. Game is the sixth installment in the Battlefield game series. Game was released on 29 October in 2013. Game was released for Microsoft Windows, PS3, PS4, Xbox-360 and for Xbox-One. Game is much similar to Battlefield 3 and consist of some more enhanced features. A mini-map is placed on the lower left corner and a compass which can be used for navigation, while at the lower right corner has a compact ammo counter and health meter to notify the player about health. Health can be raised by taking cover and preventing the player from further more damage. The map shows red marking for enemies and blue for allies and green for squad members. Player can use new weapons that could be hand-held from any ammo point in the game. New weapons including a fully loaded AK-47, dual scoped machine guns, shotguns, anti-air launchers, anti-tank launchers, RPGs and pistols. The new sniper has been loaded with features such as far near zoom and holding breath system for best shots. Player can now spot targets in the game so that to take a close look of their path and in order to kill them effectively. Player can perform such task with the new binocular gadget. Spotting of enemies is the for the first time featured in battlefield franchise. Player can give orders to squad mates to eliminate the target or to give player cover. New "Engage System" has been added to game with which each time the engage bar fills and turns green, player can give orders to squad mates for a specific task. Player can perform melee attacks with knife in order to eliminate targets silently. Game also features a multiplayer mode in which players around the world could challenge each other in different rounds. New vehicles have been added to game which player could drive to cover distances or to target enemies. Vehicles includes tanks, helicopter, jet planes, cars, bikes, boats etc. The story of the game focuses only on one person named "Recker" who becomes the squad leader after the death of their leader Dunn. The game starts in a car where Recker, Dunn, Irish and Pac are trapped in a car in a lake after their accident while trying to get out of enemies in Baku, Azerbaijan. Afterwards, the story flashes to six hours before. Main story of the game is about the sudden assassination of Chinese politician Jin Jie. Admiral Chang takes the control of China after the death of Jin Jie, blaming United States for his assassination. Game's graphics has been mastered to ultra level where each detail can be seen a more real manner. New and enhanced controls has been added to game.
