Hitman Silent Assassin is a stealth game developed by IO interactive and published by Eidos interactive. Game is the sequel to its predecessor (Hitman: Agent 47) and the second game in the Hitman game series. Game was initially released on 30 September in 2002. Player assume the rule of Agent 47, a professional assassin known for his stealth in assassinations. The game focuses on silent assassinations where players must perform such assassinations and kill that no one could detect the player. Game has a mission system in which player must complete a number of objectives in order to complete the mission. Most missions have objectives related to killing someone or a number of people. Player can complete each mission differently as game features the option that how the player can complete the game. Player can find new disguises and could wear the dead guards uniforms in order to be undetected. 47 can blend in crowd and could perform new silent assassinations and kills. Player must use the weapon which that guard used to hold and would try to make a distance from other guards as going nearer to them could result in detection and further death. Player is given the names "Mass Murderer" or "Silent Assassin". Player who kill everyone is given the name of "Mass Murderer" and the player who does not kill anyone else but the target is given the name "Silent Assassin". Player can unlock new weapons by getting the best rewards in each mission. Game continues as Agent 47 has left his life as assassin behind and start working in a church in Sicily. He start working as a gardener for Father Vittorio. Father Vittorio is kidnapped and a ransom note is left behind for 47. 47 has been forced to go start the job he left of being a professional assassin. Diana informs 47 that Father was kidnapped by a Mafia mob named Giuliano. She tells 47 that father has been detained in the mansion's prison. 47 start searching the mansion where he comes to know that father has been shifted to somewhere else so he continue his search.
