Anchorman 2 The Legend Continues is an american-comedy film directed by Adam McKay and produced by Judd Apatow. The story is written by McKay himself and Will Ferrell. Movie is the sequel to its original movie named the "The Anchorman The Legend of Ron Burgundy". Movie was released in 2013 and near to Christmas. The story of the movie takes place after several years from the previous movie where Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) and Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) are married and both are the co-anchors of the New York City news network. One day, Mack Tannen (Harrison Ford) who is the most popular night news anchor of New York tells audience that he is retiring. He tries to promote Veronica to take his seat and become the first female nightly anchor of New York news network and to fire Ron because of his dizzy performance in front of audience. Ron becomes jealous with Veronica's success and leaves the house and leaving Veronica and their six year old son Walter (Judah Nelson). After six months, Ron comes back to San Diego but he hardly find a job because of his depression. After being fired from Sea World and trying to suicide, Ron accepts a job with GNN, The Global News Network which is the worlds first 24 hours news network. He unite with his new team of Champ Kind (David Koechner) who have a fried chicken shop that sells bats secretly so that he can get some low costs, Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) who is a popular cat photographer and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) who is presumed dead but reappears on his own funeral with astonishment. They are assigned a wild job of unpopular late nigh show where their rival Jack Lime (James Marsden) is put in the prime-time slot. Ron finds out that Veronica is dating another man Gary (Greg Kinnear) who is a psychiatrist due to Ron's absence.
